Ballet Classes

Classes commence at the age of 3 years as classes are structured towards learning as well as enjoyment and encourage the sheer joy of dancing along with skills.

The young ones classes are all on a Saturday morning up to Grade 3. Commencing with;

Grade 1: 9.00am
Preparatory/Pre-juvenile (3-5 years): 9.45am
Preparatory/Primary from 5 years: 10.30am
Grade 2: 11.30am

Grade 4,5 & 6 Classical Intermediate Advanced are weekly classes.

The term of an examination, pupils must attend an extra examination coaching class.

Examinations are taken from the age of 3 at the teachers discretion.

Pupils are invited to take examinations.

I.D.T.A. session is held at the studio twice a year. (I.D.T.A. is the worlds largest examination board).

Uniform – Dance uniform is compulsory for all classes (Uniforms may be purchased from World of Dance).

Girls: Blue short sleeve skirted leotard (available only through the school). Pink Freeds 3/4 sleeve crossover. Pink Freeds ballet socks. Pink satin ballet shoes with elastics. Grade 2-6: Navy polycotton strappy leotard with belt. Pink Freeds ballet socks upto age of 12. Pink Freeds soft seamless ballet tights from age 12. Pink satin or canvas ballet shoes with elastics. Pink crossover or School sweatshirt. Classical-Intermediate-Advanced: Black strappy leotard. Pink Freeds Tights, Pink Canvas Professional ballet shoes. Pink satin pointe shoes with ribbons. Body warmers may be worn.

Girls hair must be in a bun from the youngest age possible.

Boys: Black unitard or White short sleeve leotard and black shorts (depending on grade). White calf length socks. White canvas shoes with elastics.
